Yalla, let’s eat Creamy Tomato Basil Soup! It’s so simple, delicious, and it's perfect for a chilly day. I love pairing it with my favorite grilled cheese. Brings back so many childhood memories.
Yalla, Let’s Eat Creamy Tomato Basil Soup !
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion chopped
4 cloves of garlic
1 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
½ a can of water (use the can)
1 cup of vegetable broth
1 teaspoon of Vageta or No Salt Organic Seasoning
1 teaspoon of sugar
Salt and pepper
1 cup of cream
½ cup of shredded parmesan cheese
1 cup of chopped basil
On medium heat take your first three ingredients and get them nice and soft in a pot.
Take your tomato paste and mix it to cook it out for a little. Add your canned tomatoes.
Mix well and add your broth and your water to the pot.
Add your seasonings. Cover your pot and let the soup go for 30 min on medium heat.
Blend your soup smooth with a blender or hand blender.
Add your cream, cheese, and basil.
